Medical Equipment Loan
You will need to visit the Kare Bears House to arrange to borrow medical equipment.
What type of equipment is available?
- Canes
- Crutches
- Grabbers
- Knee Scooters
- Ramps
- Transport Chairs
- Walkers, 2-wheel & 4-wheel
- Wheelchairs
When can I get the equipment and how long can I use It?
- Pick up the equipment right then at Kare Bears House.
- You will be asked to return the equipment within 6 weeks.
- If your needs exceed that initial period, an extension MAY BE GRANTED after the initial period on request, based on availability.
What information will I need?
- PC resident name, address, phone
- Borrower name, address, phone (if different)
- Type of equipment item(s) requested
NOTE: This service is intended only for the TEMPORARY loan of equipment.
You agree that you will:
- Release the equipment when due for return
- Not alter the equipment in any way
- Exercise due care to avoid damage
- Hold harmless Kare-ing Neighbors (DBA Kare Bears) for any and all claims
- Not take the equipment out of the State of Arizona
How do I return equipment?
Please return equipment that was loaned to you during normal hours at the Kare Bears House - Monday through Saturday.
This allows us to properly process your equipment and give you a receipt.
Kare Bears requests that you DO NOT leave your borrowed medical equipment unattended in the front entrance-way at Kare Bears House.
Kare Bears would greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Southwest Lending Closet
This is a neighboring community based charitable organization which can supply you with hygienic types medical equipment that are not available from Kare Bears.
They loan - or accept donations of - potty chairs, toilet seats, shower chairs and any other hygienic type medical equipment.
