Kare Bears Presents programs are educational presentations offered most months on topics relevant to the well-being of PebbleCreek residents. Meetings are typically held on a Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Eagle's Nest Ballroom.

Presenters are drawn from area medical and wellness professionals. Infrequently, there will be a brief “business meeting” for announcements, elections, etc. Events are free and light refreshments are provided by Kare Bears volunteers.

Watch for details about scheduled presentations on the Education page.

Kare Bears offers many opportunities to participate in Events and Activities. These Events and Activities help provide preventive support to our PebbleCreek residents. This includes classes and associated speaker presentations.

Visit the Events & Activities page for details.

The House, located at 15383 Cheery Lynn Rd. on the Eagle’s Nest side, is your in-person point of contact with Kare Bears.

Visit the House to arrange for the loan of medical equipment, return equipment, check our resource library; or for information about, or to arrange Kare Bears services.

About Kare Bears House

We maintain a supply of canes, crutches, grabbers, knee scooters, ramps, transport chairs, walkers (2-wheel & 4-wheel) and wheelchairs - available for loan to residents. In order to manage our inventory, your loan period will be established for up to 6 weeks. The loan period can be extended subject to the availability of items.

Southwest Lending Closet in Avondale is available to provide other types of items or for longer loan periods.

How to borrow & return medical equipment

Volunteer drivers can be scheduled to drive residents to medically related appointments (doctor/dental visits, therapy sessions, etc.) when they are unable to provide or procure such rides themselves.

We are limited by the number of your neighbors who are willing to assist, thus the service is not intended to cover repetitive, standing appointments of an ongoing nature. The service is free to PC residents.
